In March 2006 South Chard Church marked its 50 year anniversary by holding their “Passing the Baton” conference. Over the three days they celebrated past and present, taking time to thank God for all He has done thus far in the life of the church.

Founders Uncle Sid and Aunty Mill were remembered with great affection for all they sacrificed in the service of God and the church.

The church is set to continue to carry the “baton” of God’s Word and continue to shine a light in the world.
